Ouachita beats Henderson in inaugural Battle of the Ravine Blood Drive

Ouachita Baptist University not only won on the football field during the 2009 Battle of the Ravine but also in blood donations. The Red Cross hosted the inaugural Battle of the Ravine Blood Drive as a competition between the two universities that the entire student body could participate in.

The long, hard weeks of practice put in by many Ouachita students finally paid off in spectacular Tiger Tunes 2009 performances. Thursday, Oct. 8, through Saturday, Oct. 10, the Ouachita Student Foundation’s (OSF) Tiger Tunes entertained packed audiences with eight widely different groups as well as host and hostess pieces and Tiger Blast with the overall winner Campus Ministries announced on Saturday night.

Ouachita Baptist University’s School of Fine Arts Department of Theatre Arts will present the play Six Characters in Search of an Author by Luigi Pirandello Oct. 29 through Nov. 2 with show times at 7:30 p.m. every day with the exception of the Sunday, Nov. 1, show, which will be a 2:30 p.m. matinee.
